Chocolate Chip Cookies

For over two decades, this classic chocolate chip cookie recipe has been at the heart of our family’s baking tradition. This recipe was shared with us by my mother-in-law, it was originally shared with her by a renowned French chef, Nesslee Toulousse, whose expertise turned a simple treat into a timeless favorite.
My daughter now carries on this legacy, baking them with love and always adding her own special touch — a generous teaspoon of raw cookie dough for her parents to enjoy. It’s a delicious little indulgence that has become a cherished ritual, despite the age-old warning to never eat raw dough. But who can resist? After all, it’s not just about the final cookies; it’s about the memories and the joy of making something sweet together.
