Instructions
Simple Syrup
Mix water, sugar, and lemon zest to a sauce pan. Heat to a boil.
Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
Cool for 20min
Strain simple syrup to remove the lemon zest
Final Assembly
Add lemon juice.
Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes
Churn in the ice cream maker for 20 minutes.
